Mehandi is a ceremonial art that originated in India but is practised all over the world. Mehndi also known as Henna or heena is and ancient body art. It modern days it is used as skin decoration technique like tattoo. But Heena tattoo is a temporary tattoo. In India Henna has religious values and is part of special occasions like wedding and festivals.

The Arabic style is very famous among the young girls. This style of applying henna includes less detailing and fill-up, the design includes large floral prints and then shading them. The palm is not covered completely as in other henna styles. The design takes up to 20 mins to finish
Rajasthani Style


The Rajasthani style of applying henna includes a very detailed design and the design also include "peacock" like bird.
Henna tattoos are popular for those people that wish to get a tattoo without the pain associated and the permanence of the ink in the skin. Henna tattoos can last up to four weeks and are created through henna powder which is made into a paste and applied to the skin.
